The Secret of the Scarlet Thread

The Table Community Church invites to check out our new teaching series. There’s no doubt that Jesus Christ is the undisputed champion of Scripture. He is the central figure who dominates every story and every setting throughout the pages of the Bible. The entire Old Testament looks forward to His first coming to deal with sin and one day returning to rule and reign forever. That’s why the “scarlet thread of redemption,” as it is sometimes called, can be traced throughout the Bible.

In this 10-week series we will discover the connection between some of the great stories of the Old Testament and Jesus Christ (the Messiah) of the New Testament. Like an amazing tapestry, God’s many saving acts are woven together to create one beautiful picture of redemption.

The series begins September 5 and continues through November 21 The Table meets on the campus of Lancaster Christian School, 651, Lampeter Road, Lancaster. Join us Saturday nights at 7 p.m. for a compelling message, upbeat music and great discussion. The Table is an alternative church with the warmth and feel of a coffee house. Nursery and children’s programming are provided. The coffee and snacks are free.

Just concerned about the ‘upbeat’ music…sounds interesting otherwise…

Lot’s of adults enjoy our worship experience. The music is contemporary, but very worshipful. Our band tries to do an excellent job of leading all of us in a spirit of worship. We have people of all age groups participating. The only way to know if you will connect with a church is to visit it once or twice. I invite you to come see what our church is about and feel the heart beat of our people.
