Chili Cook-Off! The Heat is ON!
The Table would like to invite you to our fifth annual Super Saturday Celebration on February 13, 2010. The action begins at 6 p.m. with the Super Bowl of Chili Cook-offs and Tailgate Party. Cook up your best pot of chili, and bring it to The Table. The best chili chef, as chosen by our distinguished panel of judges, will win a prize. Give your chili a creative name, and enter the fun. Not a cook? No problem! Just bring your appetite! We will all sample the chili and corn bread. Don’t like chili? No problem. Other tailgate favorites will also be served. The food and the fun are free!
At 7 p.m., Stacey Dee, singer and song writer from Harrisburg, will give a free concert. Stacey’s emotional melodies, poetically honest lyrics, and shimmering vocals reward the listener with an experience for the mind, soul and spirit. (Click to visit her website)
Pastor Dan Houck will share his thoughts in a message entitled, Lessons from Sports Fans. What if anything can Christians learn from rabid sports fans? Show your colors. Wear your favorite team’s gear. Squeeze into that jersey and don your cap. It’s going to be a great night of fun and inspiration.
