Nicaragua 2010 Missions Team!

The Table is sponsoring a missions trip to Nicaragua June 19 thru June 27, 2010!  We will be traveling to a church in Ticuantepe Nicaragua which is in a rural area near Managua. Our team will be working together to build an office and classroom space for the church. We will be sifting sand, mixing concrete, painting, and laying block.  We will also have various activities to minister to the children while we are there.

Please partner with us in prayer!  Pray for safety, our health, funding, clear communication, and that our trip will make a difference for time and eternity! If you would like to support us financially, your tax deductible check should be made out to The Table Community Church with Nicaragua in the memo section.

Our First Team Meeting!

Team members:

Amy Tonzola, Jann Denlinger, Abby Dickerman, Sami Brady, Julie Hillard, Janay Fattore, Vicky Landis, Masaon Gehring, Marshall Poe, Dan Houck, Not pictured: Kira Mylin, and our translator from Nicaragua Sugey Arce.

Please leave a note of encouragement by replying with a comment!

Prayers from Springfield, MO for a successful mission trip in June! We have been to Nicaragua several times and are always blessed by the beautiful people there. We go to serve them, but are ourselves the ones who receive the biggest blessing by far. May it be that way for your team as well.

    Hey Team,
I will be with you in spirit and standing with you in prayer. I am sorry I wasn’t able to help financially at this time with this trip, but I will be praying and following your blog!
Special Hugs sent out to my Nicaragua, Piedra Menuda Team – Vicky, Jann, Janay & Marshall. Miss you & wish Andrew & I could come (someday when he is a little older I will join you again).
And to Dan – I can’t believe this is your 1st trip – what took you so long?
Much love & God Bless You!!

Hi ant vicky. I miss you a whole bunch! But I know your safe with everyone! And I just thought of this but, maybe if there is a place where you can get stuff I was thinking maybe you could get me Kayleena and Brianna something from there, if there is one. But you don’t have to if you don’t want to. And I hope you have a great time with everyone there in Nicaragua. Oh and by the way, I didn’t have any help from my family spelling Nicaragua. I only had help from a map. And again, I miss you a whole bunch! And I was wondering, is Nicaragua part of South America? And I hope everyone there has a great time helping people. And I hope no one gets hurt or sick or any thing else that has to do with that kind of stuff. Again I miss you all and I hope that you can make peoples hearts come back to one piece and help them forget the past, but only stay locked on the future. I love you ant vicky! And I’m Tyler making this message to. Bye!

Hi Sami – thanks for the e-mail letting me know you arrived safe and sound. I just had a chance to look at the photos – everyone looks healthy, happy and hard at work. My prayers are with you all. May God bless you with continued good weather and safety.
