Our Day Out
God is Great! Last night’s service at the church was very meaningful. We sang and worshiped together in two different languages! We gave a gift of a quilt to the church that Pastor Dan’s daughter Joy made. There was a joke about how they don’t need quilts here with all the heat. They are planning to hang it on the wall inside the new building.
Nicaragua is so beautiful! Today we got to go out and travel around a bit. The day started earlier than usual as we headed out to a rain forest! We took a walk thru the forest and saw a beautiful waterfall! It was a great experience.
We then got back into the van headed off to visit with Marshall’s son Keith and his family. Keith spent a lot of time explaining the way his farm works. We all learned a lot about how to grow coffee and how much work is involved. We also learned a lot about how the fair trade organization works, good and bad.
Our next stop was the market in Masaya. We all enjoyed helping to support the local economy! We ate supper at a local restaurant and enjoyed some of the local cuisine.
We are getting ready to pack up so that we can leave tomorrow morning. Please pray for a safe and timely return!
Adios!

Count on my prayers, so looking forward to seeing you all. Great job!!!! It is very warm here too. Thank you for all that you have done for us.
Thank you all for letting your light shine. The seed has been sown. We may never know the results. I am sure each of you has been blessed.
