Outward Focused
Jesus calls us to be outward focused church; one that takes seriously the Great Commission…focused and committed to to making the main thing the main thing-obeying he great commission…Go into the world and make disciples.
His goal for us is to grow increasingly in our outward persepctive…to look beyond our four walls and to see that the ministry of the Table Church happens everyday, as we live and share the Good News with our neighbors, friends and community. Our dreams need to be more outward than inward. How can we reach, love and serve our community?
It is an ironic truth that the Table Church exists primarily for the people who are not yet a part of it! We were created to be the salt and light to our community. Salt may look good in a salt shaker, but it is far more useful when it is shaken onto a piece of meat or into a pot of soup. Lancaste County is our kettle of soup. So get out of the salt shaker and dive into the soup.Come this Saturday, March 12 as we explore Christ’s call to be Outward Focused Church. The program begins at 7:00 PM, but come early at 6:30 and grab a cup of coffee and mingle with friends.
