Wise Up!
Did your father ever tell you to wise up? Well if he did, he probably didn’t write you a book to tell you how. The wisest man this world has ever known (King Solomon) did. He spent his life collecting the wise sayings of many different cultures and put the wisdom he had accumulated over the years on paper (well, parchment, actually) and presented the collection to his son. Wala – a book of time-tested nuggets of wisdom passed down through the ages. Good advice shared from a father to his son. It deals with every facet of experience—relationships, money, career, ambition—you name it. In this ten week series, we take a look at a number of these topics, and explore the wisdom God has given us. You will find Proverbs to be very practical and easy to remember.
