Pastor Dan Houck and his family live in Lancaster, PA. Dan was involved in youth ministry for 17 years. In 2003 the Brethren in Christ Church asked Dan to consider church planting. After discussing this proposal with his family, friends and colleagues and after months of prayer, reading and reflection, Dan felt an unmistakable call on his life to plant a church east of the city of Lancaster. Dan’s passion was to create a church that felt more like a coffee house than a traditional church…a church where there was more dialogue and fewer monologues … a church that stimulated all the senses … one that was less passive and more active. In November of 2004, the Table Community Church was born.
