Table Church

The Table Community Church members have a passion for reaching out into the community – to be the hands and feet of Jesus and to love others as much as our Savior loves us!

Beginning in 2010, The Table decided to partner with Water Street Ministries as we encourage our members to reach out into our community. We know that there are people right in our city that need love, and partnering with this organization will enable us to show Jesus’ love to them. On this page you will see a list of opportunities to serve with Water Street.

1. Holiday opportunities are available from October through December and include everything from food donation sorting to gift wrapping. Click here to find out which one you might want to be a part of!

In addition, we are looking for individuals interested in assisting with our fall food drive. NorthWest Savings has 7 branches that serve as food drop-off points. You would be responsible for checking in about once a week with the branches, picking up the donations when needed, and delivering them to Water Street Ministries. Two of the branches have already been adopted, but we are still looking for someone to adopt the Mount Joy, Elizabethtown, Columbia, New Holland, and Lancaster locations.

2. Easter 2011 volunteer opportunities will be available for sign up on March 1st, 2011. Feel free to check back then!
