life groups

Lifegroups are the relational heartbeat of our church. They meet throughout the week in host homes. We learn from God's Word, pray, care for one another, and build friendships that become a source of encouragement and strength beyond the meetings. Membership is open—you are welcome to check out any of our Lifegroups. For more information contact Marcia Mylin at marciamylin222@msn.com

In a Lifegroup, people can connect with others on a deeper level and respond quickly to one another’s needs. The small group offers encouragement, authenticity, acceptance, vulnerability, and accountability. These are the intimidating, but powerful disciplines that help to develop fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

The small group is the setting in which people can best express their love for each other. Love for God and one another is the defining characteristic of the fully devoted follower of Jesus Christ. Jesus modeled the importance of being part of a small group when he chose to invest his life in the twelve disciples. He showed them His love and invested His life in training and teaching them the ways of His Heavenly Father.  The early church made it a practice to continue to meet regularly together in homes for fellowship and teaching.

It can sometimes be difficult to really feel connected at church. That's why at the Table all members will be expected to join a Lifegroup. Healthy small groups tend to become a "family". This insures that people are not left to experience the demands of life on their own. Instead, Lifegroups offer people the encouragement, acceptance and accountability that are much needed in our fast-paced lives.
